Everton boss Roberto Martinez is making a late move for St Etienne striker Pierre Emerik Aubameyang.

The Mirror says Newcastle United fear the Goodison club are major rivals for the £15million-rated Gabon star, who this week expressed a desire to move to the Premier League.

Aubameyang is also wanted by Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala, and the developing bidding war could spell bad news for Newcastle's pursuit of the 24-year-old.
