Everton chairman Bill Kenwright is set to blank returning Manchester United boss David Moyes today.
The Mail on Sunday says Kenwright is believed to have been disappointed with the way Moyes was offered the Manchester United manager's job directly by Sir Alex Ferguson rather than the club-to-club as is customary.
Their relationship further deteriorated when Moyes returned to Goodison to make transfer bids for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini that were slammed as derisory by Everton, though Fellaini did eventually leave on deadline day for a higher offer of £27million.
In today's match programme, Moyes is hardly mentioned and any comment from Kenwright at all is conspicuous by its absence.
