Everton caretaker boss Unsworth: I don't need a timeline

Everton interim manager David Unsworth has insisted that he does not need a timeframe to be put on his spell in charge.

Unsworth has been in charge of the club on a temporary basis since Ronald Koeman was sacked last month following the 5-2 defeat against Arsenal in the Premier League.

Thursday's home Europa League clash against Atalanta will be the sixth game during which Unsworth leads the club.

When asked on Wednesday if he had received any update from the club, he said: "No, no change that I've been told.

"We just continue to the next game and we do that as passionately as we have done from the start. No change at the moment."

When asked if he needed a timeframe to be put on the current arrangement, he added: "No I don't. Everything I do from when I get up in the morning to when I go to bed at night is about Everton."
