Everton caretaker boss David Unsworth has added Alan Kelly as new goalkeeper coach.
Kelly, 49, canceled a scheduled holiday to fly from Dublin to Liverpool and began his new role last night. He was in the dugout for the Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea.
The former Preston North End, Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper worked with Everton keeper Jordan Pickford as PNE coach.
Kelly left Preston back in August following the appointment of Alex Neil, but now he will get the chance to get back on the training field.
Unsworth could be in charge for as many as four games.
