Everton captain Phil Jagielka insists they can snap their early season slump.
Everton head to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon on the back of successive Premier League defeats at the hands of Chelsea and Tottenham.
Manager Ronald Koeman spent around £150m over the summer and Jagielka does believe Everton have the ability to improve.
"It's up to us as players and a squad to turn it around," he said. "The only way we can do that is on the pitch.
"There's no point me talking about it here and trying to give a rallying cry we've got a tough game Sunday at United, another cup competition on Wednesday against Sunderland and a home game coming up in the Premier League so in these games first and foremost we've got to make sure the passion and the performance is there.
"We have to make sure we put things right with our reaction."
