Everton captain Neville proud to see Howard succeeding with USA

Everton captain Phil Neville is proud of teammate Tim Howard's success with the USA at the World Cup.

Neville also played with Howard at Manchester United.

"It was amazing because Emile Heskey went through one-on-one and you of course want Heskey to score but you also want Tim to make the save!" Neville told evertonfc.com. "It is a strange one because you know Tim and Landon. I was delighted for the two of them, I thought they were two of the best players on the pitch in that game.

"You watch and you are so proud that you play with these lads and you are also proud that you have played a part in their development as they become top class players. For me, Tim Howard, if he keeps progressing, could be one of the best goal keepers in Europe."
