Everton icon Joe Royle feels they're capable of upsetting Manchester City this weekend.
Royle, who also managed City, says patience, a solid but not overly defensive approach and decisive play from the full-backs will do the trick, that, and perhaps another Tim Cahill goal in the fixture.
Royle told evertonfc.com: "I think Everton will probably play two holding midfielders, just tell them to sit a little bit and you can send your full backs on when you do that and they can make a big difference.
"Also when you have good possession you need to be willing to get there from midfield and from out wide and support the front man or men.
"I am sure David Moyes will tell them not to hurry as we have 90 minutes to win the game, let's get ourselves into it, make sure we are nice and tight. The last thing we want against us is an early goal - they need to make sure they are tight in the game.
"That is what we have to do - go there and not be worried - they won the game there last year, played very well and were patient.
"Man City have terrific forwards and great players there and this is a hard game for Everton, but we are traditionally a thorn in their side. Tim Cahill in particular scores goals against them and the record against them is good. David has an organised side - nobody gets at Everton and takes them apart - and I think we are strong and can go there with confidence."
