Everton deserve to be regarded as a top four threat, insists manager Dave Moyes.

The Everton boss, whose team travel to Tottenham tonight, said: "Alex Ferguson talked us up recently but that's because he realises we have a good team here.

"We haven't added much to the squad but we came close to finishing fifth last season.

"But I think we are entitled to a mention alongside Spurs as one of those teams capable of challenging right at the top part of the table."
