Auxerre teenager Brahim Konate is interesting Everton.

The Mail on Sunday says the 19-year-old has started the Ligue Two side's last three games and proved the catalyst for an upturn in form with Auxerre winning each game.

Lyon have taken a keen interest in the French box to box midfielder, who only turned professional last summer, while Championship title chasers Brighton have also watched Konate in recent weeks.

Auxerre, who won the French championship in the 1995-96 season, were relegated from France's top flight in 2012 and only finished ninth in the second tier last term.
