Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario is pushing to return to England.

With West Ham going cold on signing him permanently, Mario is courting interest from rival Premier League clubs.

Everton and Bournemouth have now made contact, says Gazzetta dello Sport, with the Portugal midfielder eager to leave Serie A.

At the end of his six-month loan with the Irons, Mario declared: "Italian football does not go well with my characteristics: in short, any eventuality to Milan and Juventus would not be the result of my personal Inter past.

"The fact is that I do not like Serie A."
