Everton boss wondering where goals will come from during Cahill absence

Everton manager David Moyes is concerned about where the team’s goals will come from when Tim Cahill is away on international duty with Australia next month.

The 31-year old has netted nine of the Toffees’ 20 goals in the league this season but will be missing from the line-up for most of January which worries Moyes.

"I'm looking for something to happen, I need goals,” he admitted.

"We're going to lose Tim, but where do you find a striker in the January window who you are going to get for no cash or on loan who is going to make a difference?

"It's getting much harder.

"The best boys out of the Championship are big money now.

"You might have to go to the lower leagues to buy the best player at £5m or £6m now, maybe more."
