Everton boss Marco Silva is targeting a reunion with Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The Frenchman thrived last season under Silva before the Portuguese's sacking.
Silva now wants to bring Doucoure to Goodison Park and Everton appear to be making room with Morgan Schneiderlin and Davy Klaassen set to be moved on.
The 25-year-old has stated a move to Liverpool is his dream.
"Liverpool is a club that need no introduction," Doucoure told Canal Football Club.
"I was impatient to play there, at Anfield. I wanted to feel the atmosphere. For me it would be a dream to play in a club like this."
