Everton boss Marco Silva is ready to see Ashley Williams sold.

The Mirror says Silva is ready to listen to offers for defender Ashley Williams. Silva is set to preside over a shake-up at Goodison Park with MLS target Wayne Rooney among those poised to go.

Wales captain Williams, 33, who has 79 caps, is also likely to be a casualty.

Williams has just one year left on his contract after joining from Swansea after he excelled at Euro 2016.

His last appearance for Everton was at Burnley in March where he was sent off and he was then unable to break back into the side.
