Everton boss Ronald Koeman: Dutch coaching reputation still strong

Everton boss Ronald Koeman insists Dutch coaching still enjoys a strong reputation despite recent events.

The sackings of Andries Jonker at Wolfsburg and Frank de Boer at Crystal Palace has seen Dutch coaching's reputation take a hit.

But Koeman told AD: "It will not be effect the state of Dutch football in general, but at the same time it also runs as a fashion.

"So, a German, Spanish or Portuguese can do something very good, and everybody suddenly wants a German or Spaniard.

"Men like Phillip Cocu and Giovanni van Bronckhorst have a good reputation internationally. If they ever make the move abroad, it can suddenly go again."
