Everton boss Dave Moyes insists he won't panic buy during the January market.
"I don't see any reason why I would start rushing into things if I don't think I need to," he told evertonTV. "It takes time and a lot of work goes into it. We've got a big scouting staff and we work as thoroughly as we can to make sure any signings we make we get right. It doesn't always work out in this game - no matter how many times you check people out, there's no guarantee. That's why I take my time deliberating because that's my style.
"At the moment there's nothing to report as far as anything which is imminent, so we'll keep looking and hoping the right ones come along before the end of the window.
"It's [been in the past] a month when not many big transfers tend to be done, but it can be important for many clubs and it may be important for us."
