Everton boss Moyes won over by Benfica star Di Maria
Everton boss David Moyes admits his team couldn't live with Benfica winger Angel di Maria last night.
Benfica humiliated Everton 5-0 in their Europa League encounter, with Di Maria outstanding on his wing. The Argentina international has been a long-term target for Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Moyes admitted: "I thought he was like an attacking full-back, more of a winger. He did so many good things.
"He would have given a proper full back tonight a real difficult game."

Are you serious Blue Moon, fair enough 5-0 is a bad result but with 11 first team regulars injured or ineligible, what did you expect, Moyes has been a outstanding manager as evident from his numerous manager of th season awards, i mean 11 players is unheard of, you cant expect much with a 2nd defence (all first 4 defenders out, and neill also), missing more than half of our midfielders, come on, are you serious
What is Moyes on about? "he was more like an attacking full back, a winger". So which one was it you ginger muppet? Great result from the toffees by the way. Cant blame Lescott this time for another five goal deficit. Moyes out!
He's young and very very good.
If Cristiano Ronaldo is worth almost 100.000 Euros, we put Di Maria on the market for 75.000 €
