Everton boss David Moyes doesn't want to rush the development of Ross Barkley.
Moyes, who sent him on loan spells to Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds this term to gain experience, is wary of the rising clamour to stick him in every week.
He warned: "There has been a lot of stuff said because he came in and did OK but he has a lot of maturing to do.
"You should not expect to see him regularly yet.
"If I think he is the best man for the job, he will definitely play - but we have had a lot of good players in the middle. I will play him when it is right."
