Everton boss David Moyes has urged Sunderland counterpart Paolo di Canio to keep his feet on the ground.

Sunderland's victory over Everton was the Italian's second win in seven days and he has steered the Black Cats six points above the drop zone.

Toffees boss Moyes said: "I don't know Paolo that well, although I got a cuddle off him before kick-off!

"He has started off very well. But it is a long road this management lark and you have got to be able to keep doing it."
