Everton boss David Moyes doesn't know if Wayne Rooney will play for Manchester United against Rangers.
Sir Alex Ferguson has still to decide whether to recall shamed strike star Rooney after sparing him from the wrath of Everton fans.
But Moyes believes Fergie will make the right call.
He said: "Sir Alex is his own man and I'm sure he'll handle this right for Tuesday.
"Maybe he thought it was the right choice to leave out Rooney. Maybe he thought he wasn't playing that well and had to leave him out.
"It shouldn't all be on the crowd.
"Maybe he was making people realise that if you play for Manchester United you have to conduct yourself in the right manner and it doesn't matter who you are.
"I'm sure Sir Alex did what he thought was right."
