Everton boss Dave Moyes can't believe that Phil Jagielka has suffered an England snub.

Moyes said: "Put it this way, he's playing as well if not better than he was last season, when he was included in the England squad.

"It's hard enough picking my own team without trying to tell someone else what to do but Jags has been playing as well as I have seen him.

"He has been our most consistent player this season and his pace, athleticism and strength have been impressive.

"Maybe if he keeps that up he will get in again."
