Everton boss David Moyes says fans should blame him for Mikel Arteta's departure to Arsenal.
Moyes insisted selling that Spaniard Arteta for £10million to Arsenal on deadline day was the right thing to do.
The Toffees chief said: "I make the decisions here, it wasn't the chairman telling me I have to sell.
"Mikel wanted to play in the Champions League and I owed it to him to give him the opportunity."
