Everton boss David Moyes says a fully fit James McFadden won't adjust his thinking over a new striker signing.
Despite McFadden's return to fitness and the imminent arrival of Landon Donovan on another short-term loan, Moyes will target further striking reinforcements during next month's transfer window.
"I still see Faddy playing off the front, as a front man, or perhaps wide if we need him to," said the Everton manager.
"We would probably need more of an out-and-out striker (in January). We brought Faddy to help us out in terms of numbers.
"He needed the work and the games and so we are both helping each other out, and now we will see where it goes. But there are signs that he is starting to look a bit more like himself."
