Everton boss Dave Moyes is ready to stiffen his midfield by working the French transfer market.
L'Equipe says Everton have already offered £8 million for Bordeaux midfielder Alou Diarra. However, if no deal can be agreed, they will turn to Stephane M'Bia (Rennes), Jean II Makoun (Lille) or Modeste M'Bami (Olympique Marseille).
