Everton boss Dave Moyes is confident there is cash available to sign a new striker after the season-ending injury suffered by Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
Moyes says: "I think it will have to be loans, that will be where we will try to see what is available.
"The club gives me all the money they can but as most people know there are not big cash reserves so we will have to do what we can.
"(James) Vaughan will have his operation this week, and it could be between six weeks and three months before he can play again.
"Victor (Anichebe) is going to get opportunities in the coming weeks and sometimes in life when you get chances you have to make the most of them. He did well when he came on at Spurs.
"Injuries happen in football but we are disappointed for Yak because he is a really important player for us and we will miss him.
"I have a really good chairman and board and I am sure they will do everything they can to help (financially)."
