Everton boss David Moyes is ready to give Ross Barkley an extended first team run.
Moyes believes the time is right to give the 18-year-old his head.
"When he [initially] came into the first team, he was ready to play. He'd trained all summer, he'd been training for months to recover from his triple broken leg. But there was a big dip not long after.
"I hear a lot of people asking where Ross is, but he's not been ready to play in the team.
"There are certainly signs that he is getting better now. We tried to get as many games into him as possible because he missed so many games, and he'll get the benefit.
"Now I'm looking to re-introduce him again towards the end of the season, when I think it's a little bit easier to do.""My intention was to reintroduce Ross back into the first team squad - my idea was always to do it around April time, but give him some months of games first," he explained.
