Everton boss David Moyes remains angry over claims of an agreement to sell Jack Rodwell to Manchester United.
Moyes has since rubbished the reports.
And says: "I don't know where all the talk has come from that something has been done with Man United.
"We have a great working relationship with Manchester United.
"David Gill knows the chairman well and I know Sir Alex Ferguson well.
"I can tell you that anyone who is writing that in the paper is writing untruths.
"Whoever wrote that should come and see me.
"I speak in a straightforward manner with journalists and whoever wrote that should come and tell me that is the case. If anybody wants to disprove me then they should do so. Nothing has happened and there has been no contact."
