Everton manager David Moyes is remaining patient overt the situation involving Louis Saha whose contract expires soon.
The French striker has been in brilliant form for the Toffees this season, scoring on ten occasions, and although he has been linked with some clubs elsewhere in Europe, Moyes is confident things will work out.
"He did really well," said Moyes. "I have to say, I thought the centre-forward was in a class of his own.
"Louis gave them as tough a time as they will come up against. I thought he was all over them.
"He was caught on the halfway line for their first goal and mis-kicked for their second, but his centre-forward play was exceptional.
"I don't think we need to convince him to stay. He's happy and I think it's a situation that doesn't need to be rushed. We're speaking to him."
