Everton boss David Moyes is planning a break away for his players during international week.

Moyes will issue a rallying call before they seek an end to their wretched run at West Ham this afternoon.

But win, lose or draw, the embattled Scot is planning some extra-curricular work to lift the mood on the blue half of Merseyside.

Moyes said: "I might take the players to the Lake District for the day and do something different.

"We've been up there before and had rowing boat races. We've done mountain biking and things like that.

"We won't have a lot of players around because of the internationals, but I'll give them a bit of a break.

"The change for those players on international duty will freshen them up."
