Everton boss Dave Moyes rates Portsmouth goalkeeper David James as the best in the Premiership.

Moyes told evertonfc.com: "David James has probably been the outstanding goalkeeper in the country. He has matured with age and his goalkeeping has got better.

"He will be very hard to beat, that's for sure. He's someone who gives them a steadying influence at the back and they trust him."
