Everton boss David Moyes was delighted with Nikica Jelavic's return for their draw at QPR.
Partnering in-form Argentine Denis Stracqualursi up front, Jelavic saw an effort ruled out for offside as Queens Park Rangers battled out a 1-1 draw.
"He looked lively," said the Toffees boss to Evertonfc.com.
"I didn't think we were getting a great deal of the game in the second half. I wanted to go with the two boys up front and see if we could win the game.
"It got better for a while and then dipped away again. I was looking to try and get a better grasp of the game."
