Everton boss Moyes not ready to give up on MLS market after Donovan snub

Everton boss David Moyes isn't ready to shelve plans to shop in the MLS market.

LA Galaxy captain Landon Donovan announced this week he would not be returning to Goodison Park.

But the Liverpool Echo says the Blues boss is increasingly impressed with the standard of USA's home-grown stars, and has admitted he was interested in Clint Dempsey before his move to Fulham.

There are other potential Premier League candidates in MLS, with Birmingham recently handing a trial to 29-year-old striker Edson Buddle. So Moyes will not give up on that market despite the disappointment of Donovan's decision.
