It was a dirty day for Everton in the Merseyside Derby as they lost 2-0 to Liverpool and also had Aussie Tim Cahill sent off with a questionable red card. Everton boss David Moyes has thrown his support behind Cahill as the club will attempt to have the red card reversed this week. Cahill's challenge on Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso was harshly dealt with by referee Mike Riley according to Moyes. "I have had a chance to look at and it and I don't see a red card tackle, I really don't," Moyes told the club's official website. "I see a yellow card and I don't think it was the worst tackle in the game today. I think we were all really surprised it was a sending off."
