Everton boss David Moyes played down Nikica Jelavic's injury concerns after their draw with Newcastle United.

Jelavic was withdrawn on the stroke of half time after picking up an injury as early as the third minute.

"He banged the side of his knee against the post," explained Moyes. "I've not had the outcome - hopefully we'll get that tomorrow - but I don't think it's too severe."
