Everton boss Moyes moves for Man Utd skipper Neville

Everton boss Dave Moyes wants to reunite Manchester United skipper Gary Neville with his brother Phil at Goodison Park.

The News of the World says Moyes has been monitoring the situation of elder brother Gary at Manchester United, where he is now down the pecking order for the right-back slot.

And he is set to ask Neville if he would like to join brother Phil at Goodison Park . . . and end his playing career in Liverpool!

It has been unthinkable that United club captain Neville would see out his playing days at anywhere but Old Trafford, where he made his debut in 1992.

Neville turns 34 in February and his contract expires at the end of the season. He has yet to be offered a new one. It is highly likely he would be offered a coaching role but Neville is not thought to be considering retirement.

And that is why any advances from Moyes might interest Neville, who has seen his brother, 31, flourish as Everton skipper.
