Everton boss Moyes to make Edson Buddle decision

Everton boss David Moyes is considering a deal for trialist Edson Buddle today.

The 30-year-old failed to secure a deal at West Ham following a recent trial but Moyes could yet offer him a lifeline.

The Everton manager said: "He has been in for a few days and we will have a look at it and talk about it over the weekend."

Moyes has signed Landon Donovan on loan from LA Galaxy, while he has also signed Darron Gibson from Manchester United.

But the Scot says he will keep busy in the final days of the transfer window.

He added: "I would like to (add to my squad) if I can. We are certainly short at centre-half right now and I have always said that if we can get a centre-forward in then that would be great."
