Everton boss David Moyes has launched an attack on Newcastle United midfielder Ryan Taylor for his challenge on Jack Rodwell last week.

Moyes rapped: "It was a horrible challenge from Ryan Taylor, and he should have been sent off.

"It really was a shocker, and Jack has not been able to train at all this week, yet we have not heard anything from the FA about it.

"No contact whatsoever. It's so disappointing to lose players like that, when it's down to those sort of tackles.

"But it seems there is nothing we can do about it now, other than roll our sleeves up and get on with things in the usual determined manner."
