Everton boss Moyes: Lack of English hurting Fellaini

Everton boss Dave Moyes believes Marouane Fellaini's lack of English has contributed to his disciplinary problems.

He said: "I think that the language barrier and how things are put over at times, and even how referees put things over can be a problem.

"Not all referees are wrong. He's had 10 bookings and we need to get on with it. He's out now and it's old news really.

"His English is getting better, his form is very good and we are disappointed to not have him, but that happens in football."

Much was said surrounding the unavailability of Fellaini for the Merseyside derbies, but Moyes appears to have come to terms with the decision.

He added: "He was always going to miss two games somewhere in the season, so who knows, these may have been the best two games for him to miss."
