Steven Pienaar could be convinced to remain at Everton because of his admiration for Toffees boss David Moyes. The South African international has been at Everton for more than two years after initially joining on loan from Borussia Dortmund.
Pienaar remarked: "The gaffer has always been there to help me.
"He's the one who took me to England and had a lot of confidence in me.
"When someone shows you that kind of respect you want to pay them back someday and all I had to do was work very hard because I knew that the talent was there.
"He demands a lot from his players and always emphasises teamwork.
"I've often wondered when he gets the chance to go to sleep because he is the hardest working manager I've ever come across and that has rubbed off on his players as well. Everyone has to give 100% no matter how good you are."
