Everton manager David Moyes said he was impressed by Landon Donovan after he scored his first English Premier League goal in the 2-0 win over Sunderland.
The USA international, who is on loan from LA Galaxy, added a second for the Toffees in the 19th minute after Tim Cahill had earlier put them ahead and Moyes admitted he could have even had another if things went his way.
"I thought in his first two games he did really well against Arsenal and Manchester City, which is not easy,'' Moyes told Sky Sports.
"He deserved the goal today, he's got a great scoring record in America and he could have got a second tonight with a bit of luck.''
