Everton boss Moyes hopes to keep hold of Pienaar

Everton boss David Moyes admits he's delighted with the impact made by on-loan Tottenham midfielder Steven Pienaar.

Pienaar has been reinvigorated in the short time he has been back at Goodison Park and Moyes would like to re-sign him permanently in the summer, although he admits they are a long way from finalising those negotiations.

"You're probably going to ask me every press conference and I'm going to give the same answer that I genuinely don't think anything will be even talked about until after the end of the season," said the Scot.

"Pienaar's performances have given us the creativity. Nikica's given us the goals.

"I think that, apart from the odd blip, we've played really well probably since the turn of the year and the arrival of Darron Gibson, Steven, Landon Donovan (on a short-term loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy) and Nikica.

"It's made a big difference to us and we've always been as good as any other team in the Premier League."
