Everton boss Moyes happy with Jacobsen return

Everton midfielder Lars Jocobsen is set to resume full-scale training this week.

Jacobsen, who was the Goodison club's first signing of the summer, has been given the all-clear to resume full-time fitness work after dislocating his shoulder.

The Denmark international defender has yet to kick a ball in anger for the Blues. He picked up the injury just two weeks after signing, while playing for his country.

But after almost four months of treatment, he's now running again and will soon to return to match action.

And boss David Moyes said that the 29-year-old has already proved his character by fighting to return so quickly.

"Lars is working really hard to get himself into contention and we are pleased with how he is doing," Moyes said.
