Everton boss Moyes happy for Baxter over Oldham success

Everton boss David Moyes is ready to face Jose Baxter in their FA Cup tie with Oldham Athletic.

He made history at Goodison when becoming the youngest player - at 16years and 191 days - to represent the club in August 2008.

"I'm delighted for Jose," said Moyes.

"We offered him a contract, gave him his debut at 16. It's hard for them at that age, as they can get to 19 and 20 and people are wondering where they have gone.

"But he is doing well. I am glad. It was a brave decision to leave but hopefully he will see it as the right move."
