Everton boss Dave Moyes has hailed the influence of skipper Phil Neville on the squad this season.

He said: "That's one thing I'd say about Phil - he always wants the ball, is always brave and never hides. You have to give him 100 per cent credit for that.

"He's a great example of making sure you don't hide when it's not going as well as it should."
