Everton boss David Moyes is excited by the potential of former Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.
Moyes believes the 24-year-old will become a growing force in his midfield.
He said: "I think he might need six months to get him the way I like. I thought he was much better in the second half on Saturday. He passed the ball much better to what I expected.
"Now I'm expecting him to up it again. He's someone who has not played a lot of football, doesn't know much about me, is just settling in, but overall, I thought he had a decent contribution for a boy who has been out for a month.
"He's got a great shot on him, he can pass it well and he's got a bit of experience for a young boy.
"We hope in time he will work out well for us. I'm going to need time with him, like the others.
"On Saturday we had Darron, Steven (Pienaar) and Nicky (Jelavic). It was maybe the first time the three of them have been able to play together in a game."
