Everton boss David Moyes is delighted with Leighton Baines' maiden England call.

Baines is the only uncapped player in the squad for the friendly against Slovakia and the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.

His Everton chance came after defender Joseph Yobo got injured.

He has now been an ever-present for his club since Boxing Day.

Moyes said: "I always said to him that his chance here would come."
