Everton boss David Moyes was coy yesterday about Victor Anichebe's non-selection for their draw at Fulham.

The Nigerian was a surprise omission from the final squad.

When asked why he changed his mind about selecting Anichebe as one of his seven substitutes, despite the striker being named on the official team-sheet for the game with Fulham, Moyes said: "I just decided not to use him at the last minute.

"I won't elaborate on it anymore."
