Everton boss David Moyes can see how Andre Villas-Boas is trying to regenerate Chelsea's squad this season.
The Portuguese has injected new blood into an aging side with the likes of Juan Mata, Gary Cahill and Oriol Romeu, and Moyes says it's obvious the former Porto man is overseeing a period of minor transition.
"I think it's always hard when you take over a big club with big expectations. And that's what Chelsea have," he said. "And I think they've got a really good team Chelsea.
"They look as if they're trying to change some bits of the way they play and I think they're trying to change some players around, so that takes time. It's always difficult because people want instant results all the time and it doesn't always happen in football, it doesn't always work that way," he told evertonfc.com.
