Everton boss David Moyes believes Sam Allardyce will continue to improve Blackburn Rovers.

Rovers face Everton sitting in 11th place.

"They got themselves into the top half recently and I think Sam will see that as a good year for him at Blackburn," Moyes told evertonfc.com.

"Given time Sam will strengthen. He knows his way around the division, has done for many a year, and he'll always get his sides competitive, hard to play against, hard to beat and, from that, he'll get his results throughout the season."
