Everton boss David Moyes admits Victor Anichebe is out for the rest of the season.

After their 0-0 draw with Blackburn Rovers, Moyes revealed that striker Anichebe, who suffered knee ligament damage after a shocking challenge by Newcastle's Kevin Nolan last week, will have an operation tomorrow.

"It's a blow for the boy because he had got back into the team and now he is out for the rest of the season," said Moyes.
