Everton boss Moyes admits Cahill needs goal

Everton boss David Moyes concedes Tim Cahill needs a goal.

The Aussie was hooked during victory over Wolves.

"Tim had some stitches so I thought he looked a bit groggy after that," said Moyes after Everton had grounded out a crucial 2-1 win thanks to goals from England internationals Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines.

"We needed a goal and a solution and he hasn't scored for a while. We need to give him help. We have needed him for years and he has sometimes carried us. It surprises me that he hasn't scored for so long but I still think he will get eight or ten this season."
